Dear GIIS Family,

I'm thrilled to be your new Principal, Dipti Joshna. I come from a coastal state in the east of India, Odisha which has a rich cultural and social heritage. I am the eldest of the three siblings and we grew up in almost all the states of India and that is why I carry a bit of every state in my heart. Coming from a strict defence background (my dad once served the Indian Air Force and now retired from active service), it has shaped me into an adaptable, tolerant and inclusive individual. I received my education from the Air Force Schools and the various Kendriya Vidyalayas established by the Ministry of Education in the hard remote areas for all Central Govt Employees.  I am an alumnus of the Regional Institute of Education, Ajmer, Rajasthan and have been in the field of Education for more than two decades, having worked in various brands like Delhi Public Schools, GEMS Education Dubai, G.D. Goenka group of schools, New Delhi etc. 

As you embark on a fresh start with me, I'm excited to share the latest edition of the GIIS KL newsletter, which is your window into the vibrant life of our school. As always, transparency and communication are vital to me, and I want to ensure you're updated on the diverse activities and achievements that make GIIS KL so special for our students.

The energy and enthusiasm displayed at the Lower Primary Sports Day were truly inspiring, showcasing the teamwork and sportsmanship that are core values at GIIS.
